Industrial Enzymes from Century Pharmaceutical ltd, Biotechnology division
CPL has started new business on Industrial enzymes has wide applications in various industries like sugar Industry, Paper, Pulping industry, Food, and Textile. Now the following enzymes will be available for commercial use in Century Pharmaceuticals ltd. Laccase, Lactase, Pectinase, Lipase, Phytase, Xylanase, Lignase, Glucoamylase, Amylase, Alpha-amylase, Protease, Dextranase, Papain Pepsin, Pancreatin, Peroxidase and Bromelain.
Our enzyme formulation will be available to achieve better result that other processes.
- Sugar industries (Enzymatic conversion of starch depends both on sugar enzymes used and the physical properties of the starch liquefaction and saccharifaction.) Amylase, glucoamylase and Dextranase.
- Pulping industries (Pulping process undergoes changes to form suspension of wood fibers or pulp polymers namely cellulose, hemicelluloses and lignin)
- Food industries (The combination of enzymes that support better digestion. Constituted with eminent enzymes like Pepsin, Pancreatin, Alpha Amylase and Bromelain)
- Papain – the application of proteases in the food processing industry are the chill proofing of beer (ensuring that fine precipitates – or haziness – does not occur in the beer when it is cooled), tenderization of meat, the production of dough for pizzas, and the production of batter for waffles and wafers. The most common protease is papain.
- Textile industries ( Bio-bleaching decolorize natural pigments and Enzymatic Treatment of Denims) The enzymes used in the textile field are amylases, catalase, and laccase which are used to removing the starch, degrading excess hydrogen peroxide, bleaching textiles and degrading lignin.
- Feed Industries Animal feed enzymes is a healthier way of increasing milk production and modifying enzymes which modifies the metabolic rate of the poultry to increase the weight. The exogenous enzymes used mainly in the animal feed to digest the feed to smaller fragment to achieve the desired results faster. These enzymes have to be added as feed additives are cellulase, β-glucanases, xylanases, and associated enzymes phytases, proteases, lipases, and galactosidases. Most of the time undigested feed will be excreted or undigested feed will be converted to other forms of sugars which will increase the acid production or other metabolic complications which affect the productivity of the animal.
- Enzymes to Improve Membrane Cleaning and Performance in Biopharmaceuticals Membrane-based filtration systems are used extensively in raw material, food, and dairy processing, chemical and pharmaceutical production, and water treatment. Ultrafiltration, microfiltration, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis, and other membrane-based technologies are used to purify and concentrate desirable end products while removing undesirable impurities or by-products.
- During use, membranes typically become fouled resulting in diminished performance and reduced flux rates. If membranes are not thoroughly cleaned, the cumulative effect of repeated fouling will ultimately reduce performance and flux rates to the point where it becomes necessary to replace the membrane.Typically an enzymatic cleaning process should be employed on a preventative basis or when standard membrane cleaning procedures fail to produce the desired results (i.e., restoration of the membrane’s flux rate.)
- To a large extent, the choice of enzyme product(s) to use for membrane cleaning will depend on the nature of the fouling substances. For example, if a membrane were fouled with proteinaceous material, a protease enzyme would be recommended. Sometimes it may be necessary to perform an autopsy on a used membrane to determine the exact nature of the fouling materials. Enzymes can be used effectively to clean membranes in combination with normal cleaning producers. When used periodically, the supplemental enzymatic cleaning process can restore membrane flux rates and ultimately extend the service life of the membrane. The recommendations described in the preceding sections are general in nature. Please consult our Technical Service representative for specific recommendations designed to meet your unique process conditions.
